EBC Ultimax USR Slotted Performance Brake Discs are ideal for performance road cars where the standard discs are suffering from heavy use,high temperatures and unstable braking performance. Ultimax Slotted Discs have undergone extensive testing and development to produce a disc that improves performance but remains quiet in use.

The slots in the disc break down surface gases and pull cool air under the pad surface to help disc cooling and reduce pad fade.

The slotted design also helps remove dirt, dust and gas build up, improving performance, but also maintaining a flat and parallel pad surface throughout the lifetime of the brake pads. EBC Ultimax discs have a chemically applied, silver corrosion resistant finish for long lasting good looks.

Until recently EBC have offered fully black coated or black top hat discs, these were called Gen 1 and Gen 2. This is changing. For 2023, all new stock is produced in a fully silver Geomet coating. There is no change to the quality of iron used or the methods of production. We can offer no guarantee that you will receive black discs, as fresh stock arrives from EBC these will be replaced with silver Gen 3 (see images).
